ERIE, PA   Founded in 1982, Mid American Natural Resources was the first area company to take advantage of natural gas and electric deregulation.  It has reliably provided commercial/industrial/institutional customers with natural gas and electricity at reasonable prices.  By shipping locally produced gas and procuring regionally based electricity, Mid American has helped our region (NW PA, Western NY) grow, by supporting its manufacturing base and commercial entities.  To maintain our reliability, MANR has purchased and maintained over 360 miles of local interstate pipeline, enabling area producers to get their gas to market at a fair price.  This pipeline also directly supports the Jamestown, NY Board of Public Utilities energy plant.  Recently made a division of EMKEY Energy, Mid American Natural Resources, LLC continues to provide the same great services it has for thirty years.
