There are more than 3,000 professional carpenters across seven states who, every day at work, provide a realistic, affordable solution to the skilled manpower shortage in the construction industry. These men and women are members of the Mid-South Carpenters Regional Council. They live throughout Alabama, Mississippi and Tennessee, as well as in parts of western North Carolina, northern Georgia, eastern Arkansas, and the Florida panhandle. Contractors who hire our members have unlimited access to a deep supply of experienced crews who understand that their job is to get the work done quickly, correctly, and safely. These are skilled carpenters, cabinetmakers, pile drivers, lathers, framers, floorlayers, roofers, drywallers and workers in forest products and related industries. We take our role seriously: To provide safe, skilled, credentialed, productive skilled carpenters to the regional construction industry. To support that mission, we have offices, training centers, contractors, and members throughout the seven mid-southern states, all expertly equipped to meet the needs of the end-user. And as an affiliate of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, our members learn from world-class training programs for both technical and leadership skills.
