Twin brothers, Dane and Derek Wilson, began what is now MiddleTown Property Group, in June 2013 when they purchased their first property — the house they rented while attending Ball State University. 

Over the next ten years MTPG grew to over 3,600 peaking in 2023. From there Dane/Derek made the strategic decision to reduce focus on third party management and transition to majority self-managed/owned properties.

Today, MiddleTown Property Group manages approximately 1,200 units in the Muncie and East Central Indiana area. Dane/Derek maintain majority ownership/control in 80%+ of units managed.

Dane and Derek are committed to improving their hometown of Muncie. They envision the quality of housing to rival West Lafayette, Bloomington and Indianapolis.
