Midstate Basement Authorities. Inc. is Central New York's trusted full service waterproofing, concrete leveling & lifting, and foundation repair contractor. Services include basement waterproofing, water control systems, crawl space encapsulation, foundation/structural repair, dehumidification, sump pump systems, concrete leveling & lifting, and shotcrete installation. 
Back in the early 80's, Ithaca native, Robert Leach, started his own small contracting business that focused on attention to detail, solid craftsmanship and customer service. After over 20 years of success, Robert's son, Eric Leach, returned from the military and joined his father on the team, and together, they incorporated R. Leach & Son Contracting. The company continued to focus on general contracting, but Eric knew that in order to grow the business they needed to become an expert in one area of the many services they offered. After much research, he found what was a genuine need for homeowners and area businesses -- a company that offered quality basement waterproofing, crawl space encapsulation and foundation repair. After much hard work, the company grew to become Central New York's leading provider in basement and foundation services, Midstate Basement Authorities, Inc. In 2017, Midstate established a partnership with the nationwide leader, Safe Basements, to provide the best knowledge and regular training for his team and to be able to offer the best products and services available in the industry for Midstate clients.
In 2018, Midstate outgrew their location and expanded to include a main office in Newfield, NY and remote offices in Syracuse and Binghamton, NY, in order to better serve their customers. They further expanded in 2019 to add a subdivision, Midstate Concrete Leveling & Lifting, to concentrate on increasing the value of local homes and businesses by helping the community be safe with leveling sidewalks, patios, floors, and more.
