Midway Church is a religious institution based in Villa Rica, Georgia, with a long history dating back to 1847. The church describes itself as a racially diverse, outward-focused congregation that aims to engage the local community and neighboring regions through its mission of teaching and outreach, including local ministries and international partners. Its stated approach centers on welcoming people from all backgrounds and meeting them where they are, guided by a metaphor of being a hospital for sinners rather than a hotel for saints. The organization emphasizes growth in participation and baptisms as indicators of life change, and it follows an Acts 1:8 strategy to be active in its Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and ends of the earth. Midway is located in west Georgia and serves a community that spans a range of ages and economic backgrounds, positioning itself within the broader religious institutions sector as a church focused on outreach and discipleship.
