Founded by James W. Byrd in 1987, Midwest Asset developed equity and fixed-income portfolios that earned meaningful net excess returns over investable benchmarks without increasing risks (performance independently verified).

Midwest Asset research and experience with clients have led to identifying then isolating two major obstacles to investment success:

In 2021 the firm’s research and marketing platform upgrades we completed. Institutional quality portfolio management can now be offered to investors with a minimum $250,000 in financial assets, and at rates usually 50% or more below the market averages.
