Midwest Industrial Tanks was founded in 2012… The ideas Dick Allen, Rob Barnts and Wade Lewis had in mind for Midwest Industrial Tanks, came after months of careful planning and consideration. The idea was to form a company that manufactured quality fuel tanks; agricultural and industrial. They decided they were going to build a business in a local community where they have formed their lives and community roots. They purchased the Peterson Manufacturing Facility (formerly Vise Grip), with the notion to utilize all 367,000 square feet of manufacturing space. The facility, located in DeWitt, NE, had been vacant since 2008 when the former operations in DeWitt, NE went overseas and 700 employees lost their jobs, nearly crippling the community. DeWitt, NE is located in Southeast Nebraska and close to many metropolitan and agricultural areas.

Midwest Industrial Tanks has been operating since May of 2012. It is with the dedication of the ownership and staff that Midwest Industrial Tanks continues to grow. Midwest Industrial Tanks is happy to serve as a local employer and help grow the local economy. Midwest Industrial Tanks has on-site leadership in Rob Barnts and Wade Lewis; they work closely with staff to ensure the best possible experience for the customers. Midwest Industrial Tanks is a valuable asset to Nebraska and the Nation.

Midwest Industrial Tanks products include: Fuel Tanks, DEF Tanks (Diesel Exhaust Fluids), Waste and Fresh Oil Tanks, Fuel Trailers, Grain Bodies, Dumpsters and many other products. All these products are manufactured locally. From the highly trained Design and Drafting Department to our experienced team of Welders, most of which are from the local community; Midwest Industrial Tanks will serve as your manufacturer for today and the years to come.
