The Milano Hat Company was founded in April 1983 by John Milano.  With 28 years of experience in the hat business, Mr. Milano began manufacturing and marketing felt and straw western hats, as well as imported caps.  

In July 1984, Milano Hat Company entered into a licensing agreement with Larry Mahan under the Larry Mahan's® Hat Collection.  By 1990, the company introduced another brand, Justin Hats®.  Both brands gave Milano Hat Company immense popularity for western hats.  In July 2004, the company was purchased by Dorfman Pacific of Stockton, California.  With success riding high, Milano Hat Company acquired Biltmore in 2011, expanding the company's brands and style of hats.

Today, all Milano hats have gained recognition in the marketplace due to their exclusive bodies, weave patterns, genuine leather bands, special finishes, and trimmings.  As the company continues to grow, Milano Hat Company can assure its customers continuity in styling, manufacturing, customer service, and quality control for many years to come.
