Mile Square Theatre is a professional nonprofit performing arts company based in Hoboken, New Jersey, serving Hudson County. It stands as one of the county’s larger nonprofit organizations and produces plays for audiences of all ages, aiming to broaden cultural horizons and deepen the region’s cultural life.

In 2022, Mile Square Theatre named Kevin R. Free its artistic director, succeeding founder Chris O'Connor. The organization has pursued collaborations and new formats, including a 2021 partnership with All For One Theater to present Virtual Impossibilities, a performance by mentalist Eric Walton. In early 2023 it announced its first Theatre for Family and Young Audiences production since the pandemic shutdowns, Balloonacy, directed by Andrew Baldwin.
