Miller School of Albemarle is a coeducational boarding and day college preparatory school for grades 8–12 and postgraduate students, located in Charlottesville, Virginia. Founded in 1878, the school is in its 145th year and serves students from Virginia, across the United States, and abroad on a 1,600-acre campus that includes 16 miles of trails and a 12-acre lake. It emphasizes a small-class learning environment within a rigorous academic program and uses a curriculum that centers on character, honor, and personal responsibility, alongside arts education, athletics, and community service. In 2019 the school began offering an undergraduate degree program in entrepreneurship. In 2022 it launched the Pirate Entrepreneurship Challenge and related resources, including a small-business resource center and an innovation hub.
