Mineco is a United Kingdom based international company engaged in the natural resources sector. Mineco was established in 2003 and operate in three key areas: commodities trading, base metal mining and the renewable energy generation. Our group currently employs around 2,000 people, while our current projects aim to create a further 1,500 employment opportunities. Our goal is to modernise production processes and facilities in order to meet new ecological standards, and we've brought a refreshing commitment to our local communities. MINECO MINES Base metal mines in Serbia & Bosnia: RUDNIK Located in central Serbia Rudnik, Producing lead (with silver grades), zinc and copper Rudnik processes some 250,000 tpa. GROSS Situated in Eastern Bosnia & Herzegovina with 6.7 million tonnes of reserves and a further 20 million tonnes of resources Gross is Mineco’s biggest mine. Veliki Majdan Located in Western Serbia with production restarted in 2010. Whilst a smaller mine than either Rudnik or Gross, the very high silver grades support continued investment into this operation.
