The Minerals Council of Australia (MCA) functions as the peak industry body for Australia's exploration, mining and minerals processing sectors, offering a coordinated national and international voice for the industry. It supports sustainable development and the sector's contribution to society. The MCA is based in Forrest, Victoria, Australia. 

Its membership comprises companies that together account for more than 85 per cent of Australia's annual mineral production and more than 90 per cent of mineral export earnings.
