Minimatics, Inc., founded in 1961, provides precision machining services to the high-tech community in Silicon Valley and around the world. We have decades of experience machining precision components for the aerospace, telecommunications, and medical industries. Our expertise lies in manufacturing close-tolerance parts from difficult-to-machine materials such as Kovar, Invar, Monel, Inconel, Beryllium Copper, Cupronickel, Tungsten, and Stainless Steel.

We are particularly skilled at machining controlled expansion alloys like Kovar, which is commonly used to create hermetic seals in telecommunications and photonics applications. To ensure the highest quality, we use only sulfur-free and chlorine-free cutting fluids to prevent contamination or “outgassing” during the final stages of assembly.

Our name, Minimatics, reflects our commitment to making smaller and more complex parts than other machine shops. Our machinists are able to achieve tight tolerances of 0.00005 inches - 1/30th of a human hair - without sacrificing quality or consistency. We consistently exceed our customers’ standards and are an ISO 9001:2015 and ITAR registered company.
