Minnesota HomeCare Association (MHCA) is a non-profit trade association, shaping the home care landscape to improve and sustain quality home care services. We represent both non-profit and for-profit home care providers, including: Comprehensive Medicare Certified Home Care Providers Comprehensive Home Care Providers Basic Home Care Providers Home Care Nursing (Formally known as - PDN) Providers Hospice Providers Palliative Care Providers Traditional PCA providersPCA Choice Providers MHCA offers a variety of education, advocacy, and networking services to its members. MHCA’s Board of Directors is the governing body of the association, with activities carried out by its staff, teams and region leaders. History: MHCA has its roots as a council of the Minnesota League for Nursing where, in 1970, it was organized as the Assembly of Home Health Nursing Agencies with only 15 provider members. In 1989, the council re-organized and incorporated as the independent Minnesota HomeCare Association, which today has over 160 provider agencies and business partner members. Mission: MHCA serves home care providers through advocacy, education, resources, and collaborations. Vision: Home care services across Minnesota will be high-quality & sustainable.
