Mission Valley Country Club, founded in 1967 and based in Nokomis, Florida, operates as a recreational facility focused on golf. The course is set in a manicured country landscape with several lakes that mainly enhance scenery and pose little water hazard. It is a tree-lined, walking-friendly layout designed so tee boxes are near the previous green and there are no road crossings, with the typical round lasting four hours or less. The club provides a three-tiered driving range and practice areas for putting, chipping, and sand play, with range balls supplied. Annual members may access reciprocity with more than 20 private and semi-private clubs from May through October, and the facility also hosts daily dining alongside social, golfing, and tennis events.
