The Mississippi Association of Educators (MAE) is a professional organization in the education sector that represents a broad coalition of educators, including elementary and secondary teachers, higher education faculty and staff, educational support professionals, retired educators, and students preparing to become teachers. Its core purpose is to advocate for improved salaries, benefits, and working conditions for education professionals and to support a strong public education system in Mississippi. Based in Jackson, Mississippi, MAE operates within the education administration programs landscape, serving its members and the broader educational community across the state.

A notable recent development is MAE’s collaboration with partner advocates on Raise Mississippi, a statewide initiative aimed at improving the quality of life for Mississippians through reforms to public schools that educate the majority of the state's children. The organization positions itself as a representative body within the education sector, focusing on policy and advocacy to influence conditions and resources for educators and public education in Mississippi.
