Mitsui E&P USA LLC (MEPUSA), a subsidiary of Mitsui & Co., Ltd., is an oil and gas exploration and production company based in Houston, Texas. It holds significant investments in the Marcellus Shale Gas Project in Pennsylvania, the Eagle Ford Shale Oil & Gas Project in Texas, and operates two unconventional natural gas assets in Texas.

The company also has exploration rights in several promising offshore basins in South America. Additionally, MEPUSA markets both equity and non-equity natural gas through Mitsui & Co. Energy Marketing and Services (USA) Inc., another Mitsui & Co. subsidiary.
