Mitutoyo Research & Development America, Inc. (MRDA) is a research & development subsidiary of Mitutoyo Corporation of Japan. MRDA has locations in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and in sunny California. Mitutoyo Corporation of Japan is located near the bustling Tokyo metropolitan area.

WHAT WE DO

First and foremost, we are all about technology. We push state-of-the-art to its limits in order to develop precision measurement solutions that delight our customers. We invent new measurement methods and tools.  And we design and build hardware prototypes and production software for Mitutoyo.

We’re immensely proud that our work is at the core of many leading Mitutoyo products, including coordinate measuring machines, vision measurement systems, linear gauges, calipers, micrometers, encoders, and
high precision sensor systems.
