MN ISSA is the Minnesota Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association, a professional community in the IT services and IT consulting space. Based in St. Paul, Minnesota, the organization serves the Minneapolis–St. Paul area as well as greater Minnesota and western Wisconsin, linking a diverse membership from large corporations, small businesses, government, and educational institutions to foster education, guidance, and thought leadership in information security. The group organizes regular events, including bi-monthly meetings and quarterly AfterHours, that bring local practitioners together with subject matter experts and national speakers, facilitating networking and knowledge sharing for members and non-members alike. As a founding member of the Upper Midwest Security Alliance, MN ISSA helps coordinate regional security initiatives and contributes to the annual Secure360 conference. The broader ISSA is a not-for-profit, international association focused on education, peer interaction, and professional growth for infosec professionals, with MN ISSA positioned as the regional chapter within this ecosystem.
