Mode Transportation was founded in 1989. Our company is made up of approximately 300 Independent Business Owners who act as agent brokers to sell and operate third party logistic services throughout North America. With corporate offices in Dallas and Memphis, Mode Transportation can provide transportation of every mode: Truckload, Less than Truckload, Intermodal, Rail, International and a host of specialty services such as hazmat, final mile, parcel and more. Mode Transportation’s sales for the year ended December 31, 2011 were approximately $800 million. We are now “light-asset” based and we have a nice blend of revenue with the majority residing in Truckload and Intermodal. Our LTL is very high volume and with all modes considered, we post about 10,000 loads per week. We have access to over 1,000,000 pieces of equipment, a carrier network of 20,000+, a state-of-the-art transportation management system (TMS) and a preferred drayage network. Hub Group, a leading freight transportation management company in Downers Grove, IL is our parent company and we are a wholly-owned subsidiary.
