Model Consulting, Inc. has been privately held by Neil Model since its founding in 1990. Our Team of Employee Benefit Professionals holds current licensure and are passionately committed to the servicing of our clients' employee benefits. In 2005, Model realized that the current trend of increasing health plan premiums was becoming unsustainable for our clients and companies in general. We knew that in order to lower total healthcare costs (and ancillary costs associated with poor health, including: disability, absenteeism and worker's comp), we needed to get to the root cause of the problem “unhealthy” people. We formed WellNow, our total health risk management company. (www.wellnow.us) WellNow's program is built upon three foundations: Create Awareness, Change Behavior and Measure Results. Our program, in conjunction with our nationally recognized service partners, have allowed for trends to be kept under 5% over the last three years, on a total of 160,000 lives.
