Mohonk Mountain House is a National Historic Landmark resort located in the Hudson Valley region of New York, founded in 1869. The property blends lodging with extensive outdoor and wellness offerings, including more than 85 miles of trails for hiking, biking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing. A nine-hole golf course, tennis courts, an ice-skating pavilion, horseback and carriage rides, boating on a glacial lake, and farm-to-table dining in historic and seasonal venues complete the guest experience. The property has earned recognitions from Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, and USA Today for its historic character and guest experience. It has been owned and operated by the Smiley family for five generations, and in 2024 the resort appointed a Spa Director.
