MOLA, the Museum of London Archaeology, is a London-based archaeology and built heritage practice with around five decades of experience. It provides independent heritage advice and services to clients across the UK and beyond, with commercial offerings designed to help developers, infrastructure and construction projects meet planning requirements, providing speed, certainty and value on projects of all sizes. The organization also operates as an educational charity, delivering community engagement and education programmes founded on partnership and participation. It is the only Independent Research Organisation in British archaeology, and it collaborates with a wide range of audiences. Located in London, MOLA is a mid-sized organization within the construction and heritage sector, with a workforce comprising several hundred staff. A recent development is the October 2025 announcement of three additional MOLA Impact Acceleration Account grants.
