This is our story. First, a handful of women came together, and then that handful became hundreds, the hundreds became thousands, and through friends telling friends, MomsRising is now more than a million members strong and growing!

At MomsRising, here's what we know: Every single one of us can have an impact. And together we are a powerful force.

We take on the most critical issues facing women, mothers, & families by mobilizing massive grassroots actions to:
      * Bring the voices & real world experiences of women & mothers straight to our  nation's leaders; 
      * Amplify women's voices & issues in the national dialogue & in the media across all platforms (from print, to radio, to blogs, social media, & more); 
      * Accelerate grassroots impact on Capitol Hill & at state capitols across the country;
      * Hold corporations accountable for fair treatment of women and mothers & for ensuring the safety of their products.

How are we unique? MomsRising combines the best of American innovation and ingenuity. We're a transformative online and on-the-ground multicultural organization of more than 1 million members & over a hundred aligned organizations working to increase family economic security, to end discrimination against women and mothers, and to build a nation where both businesses and families can thrive.  

MomsRising is also a new media outlet with over 1000 bloggers and a combined estimated blogging and social media readership reach of over 3 million people.
