Monolith is a software development company based at 201 Borough High Street, London, England, United Kingdom, with 11-50 employees. It offers an end-to-end cloud platform designed to help engineers tackle intractable physics problems by leveraging test data and expert knowledge, and it is built to be used by engineers for engineers. The platform enables rapid design of AI pipelines and model training without requiring advanced programming or data science experience, and it provides insights into which design parameters most influence performance. It supports using AI self-learning models to predict how designs perform under different conditions and to identify optimal parameter values to meet performance targets and regulatory requirements. Monolith was founded in 2016 by Dr. Richard Ahlfeld, drawing on his PhD from Imperial College London and NASA, with participation in the FoundersFactory accelerator in 2018, and has been named a Gartner Cool Vendor for AI in Automotive.
