Moody Center ATX is a multi-purpose arena in Austin, Texas, designed to host sports, live music, and other large‑scale events. It replaces the Frank C. Erwin Jr. Center on the University of Texas at Austin campus and serves as home to Texas men's and women's basketball, graduations, and campus and community events. The project was announced in 2019 as a collaboration among The University of Texas at Austin, Oak View Group, and Live Nation Entertainment, with involvement from Matthew McConaughey. The venue has about 15,000 seats and is designed to host top touring concerts and shows. Moody Center ATX sits at the intersection of university athletics facilities and the wider live-entertainment ecosystem, supported by partnerships with Live Nation and OVG to bring major touring events to the city. The venue has earned industry recognition, including Pollstar Arena of the Year and Billboard's Top Grossing Venue awards for 2024, and was named Arena of the Year by Pollstar and by the Academy of Country Music in 2025.
