MorCap was founded in 2007 by mortgage banking and real estate attorney Robert L. Labbé and is headquartered in Irvine, California. Mr. Labbé is a licensed attorney in both California ('90) and New York ('87) and has been actively involved both as a senior attorney and top level executive in the management of several billion dollars of residential financing nationwide for nationwide lenders such as DiTech, First Allegiance, and Lenders Direct over a real estate career spanning two decades.

During the last two (2) years MorCap through partner I. Shone Clark has acquired over 2,000+/- properties nationwide for an aggregate value of over $600MM+/-.
