Weighted blankets are a healthy and calming solution for many disorders, for both kids and adults. Many experts correlate the desire for body pressure to how heavy x-ray blankets seem to relax dental patients or why so many people like to be tightly wrapped up in a blanket like a burrito. Mosaic Weighted Blankets uses “sensory sensitive” fabrics that can breathe, are soft and not overly heavy. The blanket provides pressure therapy from its “bean bag feel” construction. Deep pressure touch stimulation (like a massage) is provided through the blanket’s non-toxic poly-pellets, which are hand-sewn into individually weighted quilting squares to provide a therapeutic effect.
