We make roads safer. We help rebuild lives. And we’re working to end uninsured driving - for good. MIB is a not-for-profit organisation founded in 1946 on the belief that no one whose life has been changed by an uninsured driver should be left without the support they deserve. That purpose still drives us, but our reach has grown. Today, we’re a community of people and partners working to protect the public from the real and lasting impact of uninsured and hit-and-run driving. At the heart of everything we do is a clear mission: to end uninsured driving for good. Our bold five-year strategy, Accelerating to Zero, sets out a practical roadmap to achieve that - with a focus on prevention, fairness for victims, and building public trust in the insurance system. Until that goal is achieved, we continue to: - Compensate victims quickly, fairly and compassionately - Work to remove uninsured and hit-and-run drivers from UK roads - Deliver services for the insurance industry and government to help keep costs down for motorists - Lead the fight against fraud through the Insurance Fraud Bureau, working alongside insurers, law enforcement and partners across the UK. Together, we’re making roads safer. For everyone.
