Motorsport Australia is a not-for-profit, member-based federation focused on the development, regulation and administration of motorsport across Australia. It serves as the country's peak body for the sport and is the Australian delegated National Sporting Authority to the FIA, the governing body for world motorsport. Originating in 1953 as the custodian of motorsport in Australia, the organisation rebranded from CAMS to Motorsport Australia on 1 January 2020 and is based at 275 Canterbury Road, Canterbury, Victoria. 

Its activities center on governance and administration of motorsport within Australia, reflecting its role as the peak body and as the FIA's national authority. In March 2026, Motorsport Australia announced the appointment of Will Davison to its Motorsport Risk and Safety Committee, illustrating ongoing governance development.
