Mount de Sales Academy is an independent Catholic school serving primary and secondary education in Macon, Middle Georgia. Sponsored by the Sisters of Mercy, it is a diverse, college-preparatory community of learners—students and teachers alike—dedicated to discovery, innovation, and service. Founded in 1876, the school began as a junior college and boarding school for women, with its first diplomas awarded in 1882. It shifted to co-education in 1959, integrated in 1963, and expanded its campus to include athletic facilities, a performing arts center, and a dedicated middle school building. In January 2026 Mount de Sales was awarded AP Platinum designation for a second consecutive year.
