Mountainfilm is a Telluride-based organization in the movies, video and sound sector that runs a long-running festival and related programming. Founded in 1979, it is one of the United States' oldest film festivals. The organization uses film, art and ideas to educate audiences and motivate action toward a more livable world.

Its activities target festival attendees and local and visiting communities, presenting stories and ideas that encourage practical solutions to real-world challenges. In 2023 Mountainfilm launched the Minds Moving Mountains Speaker Series as part of its festival programming. The organization also operates touring programs to bring selections from its festival to other communities.
