Mox Boarding House is a place to gather and share with friends, new and old. We are a one-of-a-kind board game café experience, a place for the gaming community to grow, and we invite you to join us in our beautifully designed, custom decorated stores near you. We built Mox Boarding House in 2011 in Ballard, Seattle, WA. From there, we have expanded to Bellevue, WA in 2014, and we opened a third Mox in Portland, OR in 2020. We are a part of the Card Kingdom family, and we aim to serve the board game community in our own special way, brick-and-mortar and right in your neighborhood! With over 10k sq/ft of gaming and dining space, Mox was created with the gaming community at the forefront. You can browse or buy from our extensive collection of tabletop games. We also have a free board game library to enjoy during your stay. And did we mention the library has over 400 titles you can play? Every Mox location is unique, but we always promise you ample gaming space, elegant halls for large scale events and tournaments, and a packed events calendar with a diverse range of events for gamers of all ages, playstyles, and experience levels. We’ve got Friday Night Magic, Paint Jams, Board Game Nights, and Role-Playing Games Nights. Our restaurants offer a wide variety of house-made food including international cuisine, traditional, and vegan fare crafted by our renown chefs. Complete your meal with hand crafted coffee drinks made from locally roasted coffee beans or try one of our craft cocktails and local beers.
