Mt. Crescent Ski Area is a winter recreation facility located in the Loess Hills of western Iowa, about 15 miles northeast of Omaha. It offers skiing, snowboarding, tubing and Zibob sledding, with plans to add zip lining, and supports a two-story day lodge with a year-round sun deck and a full-service rental shop carrying more than 1,000 sets of equipment. Lessons are available in group, semi-private, and private formats, and instructors use a station-based approach to teach beginners. The facility is based in Honey Creek, Iowa, and operates in the recreational facilities industry serving Midwest skiers and families. In late 2021, ownership was transferred to Pottawattamie County, reflecting a change in control for the ski area.
