Mundelein High School District 120 operates a single-campus high school serving grades 9 through 12 in Mundelein, Illinois, on Chicago's North Shore, about 40 miles north of the city. The district covers a 36-square-mile area and educates about 2,033 students, offering a broad academic program that includes honors and Advanced Placement courses, with support for special education, ELL, and bilingual learners. Since 2016–2017 the campus has expanded with two STEM laboratories, Project Lead the Way instruction, and a Business Incubator Lab, alongside a wide range of extracurricular activities and competitive athletics. More than 87 percent of graduates go on to postsecondary education. In 2026 the district announced the appointment of Dr. Art Vallicelli as Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Schools, effective July 1, 2026.
