The late Anker M Paulsen a well-known local musician started Music Center, Inc. in 1945. In the early years Music Center students won many contests and awards nationally and throughout the midwest. In the 70's Ankers's son Jim and his wife Cookie took over the business. Their goals, like Anker's are to answer all musical needs. The store grew in scope and size becoming a leader in the region by carrying all of the major manufacturer's products. Our customer base continued to expand both nationally and internationally, as well as increase the size of our store by moving to our present location. 


     We attribute our many years in the business, experienced personnel, knowledgeable instructors, and qualified repair technicians a key factor in our success. Today Music Center, Inc. continues the tradition of growth based on customer support, competitive pricing, product selection and a history of outstanding customer service.
