Mustard Seed Ranch was founded in 1999 as a charitable nonprofit organization dedicated to providing equine assisted therapy and life-experience programs to abused and neglected youth in Southern California. Our mission is to help these young people heal in a safe and nurturing environment, provide them the life skills to build healthy, lasting relationships, and to break the cycle of abuse. Abuse leads to isolation, addictions, and self-destructive lifestyle that can be handed down from one generation to the next unless the cycle is broken. Collaborating with community partners, Mustard Seed Ranch offers the opportunity for these youth in foster care, group homes, and institutional settings to experience unconditional love for the first time, regain confidence, learn personal responsibility and restore their sense of worth and trust in others. Let us become advocates for these abused and neglected children whose emotional needs are often overlooked. Help us engage in their lives and offer them hope. Together, we can break the painful and destructive cycle of abuse that scars the lives of thousands of children each year.
