Nala Renewables is a global power and renewable energy company that develops, builds, and operates solar, wind, and energy storage projects. It began as a joint venture between Trafigura and IFM Investors and sought to assemble a portfolio with a cumulative capacity of four gigawatts by 2025. It has expanded its European footprint, including battery energy storage activities in Finland and an expansion of offices in Northern Europe, and it entered into an agreement to acquire a 50 MW ready-to-build battery energy storage project in Finland from Fu-Gen AG in January 2025. Leadership changes and ownership updates include Remy Verot being appointed Interim CEO in December 2025 after Mike O'Neill's earlier appointment as CEO in January 2025, and in April 2026 IFM Investors announced the acquisition of the remaining 50% equity interest from Trafigura.
