To educate and empower…that’s the mission of NAMIC, the National Association of Multi-ethnicity in Communications.

NAMIC-Capital Area is part of a network of 16 chapters (Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia, Western Pennsylvania, New England, Carolinas, Tennessee, South Florida, Houston, Chicago, St. Louis, Minnesota, Denver, San Francisco, and Southern California) that serve as the foundation for NAMIC's 2,300 plus members.  In addition to local chapter affiliation, all members belong to the national organization.
