Nanoprobes is a nanotechnology company specializing in the development and applications of gold and other nanoparticles and related materials in biomedical imaging, research, and therapy. We have developed a variety of novel and innovative products, including the first gold nanoparticle labeling reagents, X-ray contrast agents, and the first immunoprobes specifically designed for correlative light and electron microscopy (CLEM) - our FluoroNanogold™ combined fluorescent and gold probes. We have secured multiple SBIR and STTR grants to develop and introduce new products and applications, and we are working towards using our core technology in nanoparticle synthesis for the treatment of cancers. Currently we are developing highly effective drug delivery nanoparticles, radiation enhancing nanoparticles, and magnetic nanoparticles for hyperthermia, and testing these in mouse models.
