Nashville Opera is a small- to mid-sized performing arts organization based in Nashville, Tennessee, that produces opera performances and related community initiatives. It operates mainstage productions and programs like Opera on Wheels to bring live opera to diverse audiences and meet people where they are, using bold storytelling and live music. Founded more than four decades ago, the company blends traditional repertoire with contemporary premieres to expand access and provoke conversation across Middle Tennessee.

Its core audience includes opera lovers, students, families, and general audiences in the region who engage with performances, education programs, and partnerships that increase exposure to the arts. In 2023, Nashville Opera partnered with Lexicon Classics to release the first complete recording of Carly Simon's ROMULUS HUNT, illustrating its ongoing collaboration and contemporary relevance.
