Nassau Community College (NCC) is a public institution within the State University of New York system, based on 225 acres in Garden City on Long Island, founded in 1959. It offers about 70 degree and certificate programs and delivers instruction through on-campus and online formats. Each year, NCC serves more than 17,000 students across full-time and part-time enrollment, and it maintains a large alumni network. In 2026 NCC hosted the We Are the Future Summit in partnership with Minority Millennials, convening more than 800 students for leadership and career readiness. As a longstanding SUNY campus, NCC provides accessible education and transfer opportunities to four-year institutions, supporting students pursuing further degrees.
