Nassau-Suffolk Performing Arts is a youth-focused musical organization in the United States that operates five ensembles selected by annual audition. The Wind Symphony, Jazz Ensemble, Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Vocal Jazz Ensemble bring together students from grades seven through twelve who represent more than fifty Long Island school districts. Auditions are held each June to determine membership in these groups. In spring 2010, the organization planned to add a Youth Band for students in grades five through seven. Based on Long Island and serving a broad regional base of school districts, the organization operates with a small team and offers structured opportunities for young musicians.
