The National Advanced Mobility Consortium (NAMC) is a nonprofit organization structured as a nationwide alliance of traditional and nontraditional small businesses, large defense contractors, academic institutions, and other research organizations. Its focus is translational research and development across the full range of prototype, ground vehicle, and robotics systems and technologies. Operating within the defense and space manufacturing sector, NAMC coordinates collaboration to move research toward field-ready mobility solutions for defense applications. Headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the organization serves a national membership while maintaining a small, mission-focused team. In 2026, NAMC participated in industry events in Detroit, including MDEX and XPONENTIAL, engaging Army leadership, program offices, industry partners, and innovators around autonomy, mobility, manufacturing, and the future of defense capability. The consortium has launched initiatives such as a Member Spotlight to highlight member capabilities within the capability areas identified in the DAI OTA.
