The National Association of State Treasurers (NAST) is a national membership organization that serves as a leading authority on state treasury programs, financial practices, and related education. Its members include state treasurers and other finance officials from all states, commonwealths, territories, and the District of Columbia, with private-sector participation through its Corporate Affiliate Program; the group is based in Washington, DC and led by President Kelly Mitchell and Executive Director Shaun Snyder.

NAST supports its members through educational conferences and webinars, working groups, policy advocacy, and publications that cover developments in public finance. It engages in policy advocacy on treasury-related issues to promote sound financial practices benefiting citizens. In 2024, NAST partnered with Enrich to release a learning module on college savings on the Enrich platform, illustrating collaboration with external partners to advance financial education.
