National CAPACD is a nonprofit coalition of nearly 100 community-based organizations spanning 21 states and the Pacific Islands. Its members work in low-income Asian American, Native American, and Pacific Islander communities to improve housing security and preserve neighborhoods by disseminating national resources locally, sharing best practices, and advocating for community needs at the national level. Based in Washington, DC, the organization aims to advance equity and strengthen a coalition that supports community-based development. Its mission centers on mobilizing and empowering Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander community-based organizations working in low-income communities to create vibrant, healthy neighborhoods. In 2022, National CAPACD partnered with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to develop a public service announcement promoting fair housing.
