National Children’s Alliance (NCA) serves as the national association and accrediting body for Children’s Advocacy Centers, organizations dedicated to coordinating child abuse investigations and healing. Founded in 1988, NCA provides support, technical assistance, and quality assurance to CACs and advocates for abused children. CACs are child-friendly facilities where investigators and service providers from law enforcement, child protection, prosecution, mental health, medical, and victim advocacy work together to investigate abuse, support healing, and pursue accountability.
