The National Children’s Chorus is a Grammy Award–winning education organization based in New York City that serves more than 1,400 youth across eight chapter cities. Its program provides intensive vocal training and performance opportunities through weekly rehearsals and a holistic curriculum that includes Kodály sight-singing, bel canto technique, composition, music theory, and conducting at a college level. The ensemble regularly performs in major venues and collaborates with distinguished orchestras and conductors, both in the United States and abroad. With a commitment to equitable access, NCC runs a robust scholarship program to support participation for qualifying families and maintains partnerships with hundreds of schools across its chapter cities. Senior Division ensembles travel internationally each summer, and the organization operates an annual summer opera academy, including the Vail Opera Camp initiative launched in 2023. In May 2025, NCC announced a new partnership with Compton Unified School District to expand its vocal arts program.
