The National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) is a NCAA Division I men’s hockey league consisting of eight member institutions. Based in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the conference has completed multiple seasons since beginning play in 2013-14 and has contributed teams that have qualified for the NCAA Tournament and achieved national championships. Its member schools include Colorado College, the University of Denver, Miami University, the University of Minnesota Duluth, the University of Nebraska Omaha, the University of North Dakota, St. Cloud State University, and Western Michigan University. The NCHC operates within the spectator sports industry, supporting conference competition, broadcasting, and related programming, and it has expanded with new membership to include the University of St. Thomas beginning in the 2026-2027 season.
