We are Asian American and Pacific Islander physician leaders advocating for our patients and communities. Our mission is to ensure that everyone achieves optimal health. As a national advocacy organization, we advocate for: 

 * Adequate and equitable public and private funding for initiatives and programs to improve access to, and quality of health care services;
 * Adequate and equitable public and private resources for focused research and data collection on our populations;
 * Increased representation of Asian American and Pacific Islander physician leadership at all levels of health care policy and service delivery systems; and
 * Health care systems changes that improve health care quality and access for patients and communities, and improve the practice of 21st century medicine for physicians who serve these patients and communities.
